The Pre-Preparatory School operates under three important tenets: the setting of realistic targets for each child, a proper regard for achievement and the sheer enthusiasm of the staff - and of the children themselves!
The school shares the attractive woodland setting of the Prep School, and provides an exciting environment for younger children to develop their knowledge, their thinking skills and their interaction with others. The school also shares the extraordinary new Sports Hall, the site's IT infrastructure and facilities, our on-site Swimming Pool and our very extensive playing fields.
Classes are small in size and are housed in modern purpose-built accommodation, with the emphases generally being on providing appropriate challenges at each of the key stages to build the children's abilities to concentrate, to think quickly and at the same time broadly, to communicate and to work effectively in team activities.
Lunches for the children in the Pre-Prep are included in the fees and are eaten in the main dining room. All meals are prepared by the school’s catering staff and the weekly menu is available for inspection in the Pre-Prep building.
