Bursaries

It is important to differentiate between scholarships and bursaries. The aim of the bursary programme is to help children who are sufficiently able to meet our entry requirements but would be unable to attend the school without financial assistance.

Consequently, bursaries are provided for pupils whose parents could not otherwise afford to send them to our Independent School in Norwich.

Means testing is used to determine whether a bursary is to be awarded and to what value. Parents applying for a bursary will need to complete a means test form. All information will of course, be treated as confidential. Successful applicants will also be required to furnish information annually regarding their current financial circumstances, so that the level of award can be reviewed and adjusted where necessary. The School welcomes applicants from diverse religious, ethnic and financial backgrounds.

Taverham Hall offers a wide and challenging scope of opportunities to its pupils. Candidates and their parents are therefore warmly invited to visit the School, tour the facilities and undergo interview and assessment. This will also ensure that bursaries are awarded to pupils, who with their parents, can cope with and exploit the opportunities offered to the full.
