Years 7 and 8 Trip to the Battlefields of the Ypres Salient – 25th-27th March

Years 7 and 8 have just returned from a memorable trip to the Battlefields of the First World War around Ypres in Belgium. The trip was undertaken as an aid to a greater understanding of the background to the novel ‘Private Peaceful’ by Michael Morpurgo which is studied in Year 8 as part of the English syllabus. Chapel Choir participate in the Barnardo’s National Youth Choir Competition at the Royal Festival Hall – 31st March
