Easton College Finish 1st Project

A New Kitchen Garden for Taverham Hall School children and Work Experience for Easton College Students

The Restoration of the old Walled Garden is the first exciting joint project  between Taverham Hall School and Easton College. The project started in April this year and has been financed and supported by very generous donations from local companies Baileys of Norfolk, West Norfolk Scaffolding, Read Timber and the Friends of Taverham Hall School. Letter from Buckingham Palace

Our boys and girls in Nursery 1 wrote a card for the Queens birthday and posted it to Buckingham Palace with the message

“Happy Birthday from all at Taverham Hall School Nursery”

To their delight they received a response back from the Queen’s lady-in-waiting

“Her Majesty was very glad to hear from you and sends her thanks and good wishes to you all.”

News from the boys’ dormitories:

The boys from Badgers, Pike, Roach and Mice would like to thank Edward’s grandparents for some furniture that they donated to the dorms. Thanks also goes to Callum who after a bit of spring cleaning donated a number of PS2 games and DVDs.

We are happy to welcome a number of new boarders already this term and breakfast certainly seemed to impress Sam, who having finished, rushed over to the Pre-Prep and cried, ‘The food is just too yummy. I’m ready to pop!’ Read the rest of this entry »
