Community Facilities
Public usage of the School’s facilities
The school is happy to allow members of the public, especially those who live the village of Taverham, access to its grounds and facilities wherever it is possible. Lighting in the new Sports Hall is at 1000 Lux intensity which is ideal for indoor county cricket practice. Norfolk Cricket Board have moved 70% of their 2007/8 coaching to Taverham Hall, which is up from 30% last winter. It is hoped that we can hold a pre-Christmas indoor cricket competition for adult teams, which will complement the Under-16s league competition. Teams using the Sports Hall between October 2006 and April 2007 included:
- Broadland D.C. – Holiday coaching
- Felthorpe Cricket Club
- Hellesdon Cricket Club
- Horsford Cricket Club (East Anglian Premier League)
