A fitting way to end a strong season

Boys 1st XI County Cup Final

LPS@TH: 129-3 (20 overs)
Wymondham College: 43 all out

On a sunny afternoon, LPS@TH won the toss and decided to bat first. The Wymondham College bowlers bowled nicely and their ground fielding was very good, making it tough work for our batters. However, an excellent opening partnership of 95 between Charlie (48) and Sam (41), and a well-paced 20 not out from Elliott helped us achieve a competitive total of 129 from our 20 overs.

In reply, the Wymondham College innings never got started largely thanks to the outstanding bowling from Campbell. His devastating opening spell of 4 overs, 6 wickets for 4 runs ensured the end result was inevitable. Charlie then shared the bowling round nicely and Wymondham College were eventually bowled out for 45, meaning we were crowned Norfolk U13 Champions; a fitting way to end a strong season.

Well done to all the boys and thank you for your efforts this season.
