Fun with Paints

Due to the unpredictable April Showers, the Bluebell walk which was planned for our Toddlers had to be postponed. Instead, the children enjoyed painting some spring pictures using the foam shapes including trees, bees and all sorts of flowers. There was an array of coloured paints to choose from resulting in extremely colourful designs; Eva-Belle especially enjoyed getting messy with this.

In the next room, there were lots of sensory toys to play with and explore. Elise loved working out how each individual shape fitted into its correct place within a shape box, twisting and turning them to see if they would fit. Krisham enjoyed playing with the different sized mirror balls, rolling them back and forth to Miss Tudor. Lucas and Romeo spent a long time in the sand pit with the dinosaurs, burying them and challenging each other to find them resulting in a bit of a competition of who could find the most! We ended the session with fruit and water, followed by our favourite rhymes such as Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes with the musical instruments. Next week we will be painting our own sunflower pictures as well as planting our own sunflower seeds to take home and see how high they will grow.
