James Graver will be able to give some useful advice to the above semi-finalists as he got through to the regional semi-final of the JLC last year after learning the basics of modern Greek and Korean!

This annual 3-stage knock-out competition challenges primary school children across the UK to learn foreign languages: this year we started with Italian.

All entrants in the competition need to be aged 10 or under on 1st September 2010.

The competition makes learning languages easy, fun and rewarding through Eurotalk language learning CD-ROMs for beginners, which are given out free to all entrants.

A contribution of £2.50 per entry goes to “Brighter Start”, a charity which provides lifesaving education for some of the poorest children in the world.

There are fantastic prizes to be won including a trip to Africa! Please check out www.eurotalk.com/jlc/
