A message from the Headmaster
Langley Preparatory School at Taverham Hall is a modern, forward-thinking school with traditional values embedded firmly at its roots; a place where academic excellence flourishes alongside creativity and fun. We believe that how and where children learn is just as important as what they learn. Every child is different, so finding the learning techniques that are right for them is essential. This provides children with the tools they need to guide them through their academic life.
Boys and girls aged 2 to 13 years old are taught that academic accuracy is fundamental – as is showing kindness and consideration for others. Our 100 acres of school grounds, described as a ‘paradise for pupils’ by inspectors, allows for a huge range of learning opportunities. Outside lessons take place through our fully integrated Forest School programme and learning can be consolidated in our fabulous outdoor classroom – where practical and problem-solving skills are common place.
Our dedicated team works hard to create a supportive and nurturing environment for all children in our care. For those who board, on a weekly or flexi basis here at our Taverham Hall site, it is home-from-home.
By the age of 13, children are ready to embrace the next stage of their education as empowered learners full of confidence and enthusiasm. Langley Preparatory School at Taverham Hall children enjoy an enviable academic record and invariably gain places in the public schools of their choice.
