This was an ambitious production involving almost everyone from years six, seven and eight: months of preparation culminated in a truly spectacular performance in the new Sports Hall.
Everybody played their part well, but special mention has to go at Harriet (for an incredibly mature performance as Maria), Harry (Tony), Courtney (Anita), Greg (Bernardo), and Robbie (Riff).
The long hours spent in rehearsal paid off in wonderful choreography, and the singing was surprising even by the high standards we have come to expect here at the school.
Thanks to Mrs Barraclough and Mr Bell for all their work, and to Mrs. Stamp for furnishing such striking costumes and set designs.
