This term we decided to run a canoeing Hobby, and about a dozen children signed-up for this activity that takes place on the Wensum adjoining the school grounds on a Tuesday evening. Thus far we have been really fortunate with the weather, having had a couple of glorious summer evenings. If the pictures below make it all seem rather idyllic, well that's because... it is!
We'll start with some warm-up games....
then we can head for the water,
wait for everyone to get afloat,
and then we'll be ready....
to head off upstream on a lovely summer evening.
