The Norwich Junior School Cross Country League was hosted in the grand surroundings of Taverham Hall School for the 10th year that Taverham Hall and Taverham Junior have worked together to organise this league meeting.
Approximately one hundred children from fourteen schools took part in each of the races around the wonderful parkland, providing them with a true taste of what cross country running is all about.
The Girl’s race was won by Norwich High, with Taverham Junior placed 2nd and Cringleford and Old Catton placed 3rd.
Taverham Junior won the boys race with Avenues in 2nd place and Angel Road in 3rd.
The next and final race of this year will be held at Kinsale Junior School on Friday 7th March.
All the children enjoyed the testing terrain and good weather and we hope to see even more teams next year.
