The school library is always a very busy place. The librarians have been hard at work updating the catalogue, as all the books have been given a bar code as well as a classification number and colour, so that books may be searched and borrowed easily and efficiently, with a check out system that involves a computer database for books, pupils and staff.
As well as pupils using the library for reading and research, they enjoy the many board games that are available there too.
The CLIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway medals.
This year we have a keen group of readers who are ‘shadowing’ these awards, the winners of which will be announced in June.
Our readers will read the shortlisted books and post comments and reviews on the awards website, also recording their favourites.
If you want to read what they think, follow this link to the website to see for yourself.
