Broadland's Thunder Team recorded our Junior choir singing “The Giant’s Garden" for “The Big School Sing Up”; part of the Music Manifesto’s National Singing Programme.
The programme is intended to make sure that singing is at the heart of every primary school child’s life - a policy that Taverham Hall School endorses whole-heartedly.

Our pupils performed with much enthusiasm, thoroughly enjoying this experience and are extremely excited about their newfound fame. With Mr. Dodd on piano and Mr. Davison on snare drum, the children sung with power, grace and confidence. Well done our Junior Choir!
The Junior Choir is open to all pupils who wish to sing in years 3 and 4, and functions as an understudy to the highly respected Chapel Choir. The Junior Choir has recently been taking a more visible role in School life and performed a solo item (specially written for the Choir) alongside much older children in our Christmas production “The Light inside the Stable”.
Our aim is that those choristers who go on to join the Chapel Choir in year 5 are already well versed in the disciplines of choral singing, and are able to respond to the different requirements of each piece, and to engage fully with the conductor.
We are very proud indeed of the standards of musicianship and professionalism attained by the Junior Choir, particularly given that there is no audition or entry requirement - except enthusiasm!
