Hands on the Past: The Celts and the Romans in Norfolk - 19th May 2008

The whole school was treated to a day of history brought to life by the 'Hands on the Past' troupe.

The theme for the day was Norfolk in the time of the Celts and the Romans, so the children were transported back in time almost two thousand years!

Bracca told us the story of the Iceni tribe's rebellion and their hope that one day, their Queen Boudicca (who's body was never found) would return to lead another uprising against the Roman occupiers.
