The children wanted plants that would grow up against the wall and provide colour and something to eat, together with some sweet smelling flowers. They enlisted the help of the Head Groundsman in planting Lavender and Runner Beans, and the children planted some extra pots of beans to make sure that there will be enough to cook for everyone. We are all looking forward to picking the beans and learning how to prepare, cook and eat them!
