Every summer we look forward to the Club’s interpretation of the latest disco songs and this term was no exception. Mrs Chamberlin’s Dance Club rose to the occasion and produced a most enjoyable display of individual and group dances.
All the children danced brilliantly, remembering their steps and positions. This year there are six children from the Reception class in the Dance Club, Natalie Chamberlain, Ella Fairbairn-Day, Charlotte le-May, Cecily Nurton, Phoebe Plant and Francesca Watson. They have joined the older children Katie Daniels, Darcey Pratt, Ellie Serruys and Silke van Eerten and between them they have all worked very hard and had lots of fun.
Their concentration was exceptional, especially during the partner and group dances. To perform such complicated dances with such young children is a challenge and we thank Mrs Chamberlin for all her hard work.
For the grand finale the parents joined their children to perform the last dance, where they all mastered the steps with aplomb! Yet another superb performance by the children and Mrs Chamberlin, thank you.
