Nursery & Toddlers Inspection Reports

Children are happy, secure and very confident. They are making excellent progress towards the early learning goals in each of the six areas of the educational programme.... Priority is given to children’s personal, social and emotional development and this aspect of their learning permeates the whole curriculum."

These statements are from the "Overall quality of learning" section of the June 2004 Ofsted Inspection of the Nursery. The inspector went on to highlight a number of the school’s strengths:

Children’s personal, social and emotional development is excellent. They are confident, independent, curious and eager to learn. Their behaviour is exemplary. Excellent teaching stimulates and maintains children’s interests. Planning and the outcomes of the assessments of children’s progress are effectively linked.

Children’s progress in communication, language and literacy is very good. They are confident and articulate.
