"Taverham Hall provides a very good all round education in a particularly
fine setting in which pupils are happy, confident and eager to learn. The
excellent teaching team ensures that good standards are achieved in all
aspects of school life, as well as providing a high level of pastoral care
founded on clearly stated Christian principles"
This was the opening statement in the Independent Schools Inspectorate’s
main report following their assessment of the school in October 2006. The
inspector went on to highlight a number of the school’s strengths:
The staff provide a very good standard of teaching and pastoral care.
Pupils are well behaved, confident, keen and able to learn, and supportive
of each other.
The boarding provision enhances the educational experience of those who
choose to board and does much to support the particular character of life at
the school.
The Nursery and Pre-Prep provide a good foundation to the childrens’
learning.
The grounds and setting of the school offer distinctive opportunities for
the pupils’ development.
A strong and experienced senior management team sets a fine example and
provides positive leadership to staff and pupils.
