U13A V Wymondham College Score: 27-17
Growing in confidence with every match, the U13A girls got off to a good start against Wymondham College and found themselves 8-6 up after the first quarter. They managed to extend their lead further in the second quarter by remaining focussed, concentrating on getting their centre passes right and keeping possession throughout against a much physically stronger opposition. By half time, the score was 14-9 in LPS@TH’s favour.
Showing how just united they are, and with renewed energy, the girls romped away in the third quarter with some creative passing and relentless defending and intercepting. With both shooters in full flow, they put on a further 11 goals to increase their lead by 25 goals to 13.
With just 10 minutes to go, Wymondham came through with a final flourish, but it was too late, and the score ended up 27-17 to the home side.
This team of girls has done incredibly well this season and every single one of them has always tried their best and supported each other. They are a real credit to the School, their teachers, parents and, of course, themselves. #througheffortwesucceed

U13B v Wymondham Score: 16-9
Wow! Superb netball from the girls. It was very well matched and fast paced from the start and with end-to-end netball, we were 2-2 at the first break. With a few words of encouragement and areas to tighten up, the girls really upped their game and linked up much better. Alex and Maddie converted all chances and we were 7-4 up at half time. Our third quarter was our best with every girl playing their hearts out. Sophie intercepted everything, coming into the defending circle, and Tabby was simply on fire, moving to create pathways up the court. Cara, Rebekah and Tuesday all played their parts in our fluid netball, which was wonderful to watch, and Sara worked tirelessly in the centre court. We rode a little storm in the last quarter as our strong opponents fought back and fatigue set in, but the girls finished on a high and thoroughly deserved their victory. What a long way they have all come this season. Well done, girls, and to player of the match, Tabby.
