U11A v The Abbey Score 7-0
Although the scoreline would suggest that this was an easy game, it was far from it. The Abbey worked hard throughout, but they were unable to cope with a LPS@TH team full of confidence and a desire to move the ball wide and at pace. All of the boys played their part in a super performance, but special mention should go to Oscar, who made the most of his debut for the As with a very strong performance, and to Player of Match, James M.

U11C v The Abbey Score: 3-0
This was a tough game. The boys started slowly, but gradually grew into the game. Archie made a number of good saves to keep us in the game, before a tactical switch led to Toby driving into the opposition half and scoring from the edge of the D.
The boys played really well in the second half, with Shai, Rahin and Tashinga all doing well in defence. Harry grew in confidence on the left wing, with Marcus and Alex controlling the midfield. Toby continued to pepper the poor Abbey goalkeeper with shots from the edge of the D before Marcus scored from wide on the right. Toby scored again, before hitting the post with the final play of the game.
After a slow start, it was a dominant performance and a good 3-0 win.

U11D v The Abbey Score: 8-0
A well-deserved victory for a hardworking and organised team. The first half we were a bit tentative, finding our feet and settling into position. But soon we scored our first goal by Henri after a goal-mouth scramble. By the end of the first half we were 2 nil up. The second half was where we found our groove and played some excellent hockey, with Henri B completing his hat-trick after lovely interplay by Alex S and Aiden F. By this point we were completely dominant and Henri went on to score 5 goals and Joshua 3. All of our goals were from our excellent passing and wing play.
