The School was delighted to purchase two leverets to be decorated ready for the 2018 summer art trail in Norwich. Having already waved goodbye to our Pre-Prep leveret, it was the turn of our Prep School’s GoGoHare to have its moment in the sunshine!
The theme for the Prep School’s leveret was ‘Amazing Hare Styles’ and the project was completed with the help of every one of our Prep pupils, who each created a profile self-portrait embellished with a fun hairstyle of their choice.
The portraits were then printed onto vinyl stickers, with thanks to Mark Hollinger of Hollinger Print. Our hare, creatively named Shadow by Grace D (Year 8), was given a punk makeover, complete with mohawk and face decoration.
The hare was unveiled to an excited audience of Prep pupils and teachers in our Spring Term Final Assembly by Headmaster Mr Mike Crossley and Head of Art Mr Nigel Edwards.
Shadow will now be making his way to Norwich to join the Summer GoGoHare trail. Our thanks goes to Mr Nigel Edwards, Head of Art, for masterminding this project. We look forward to seeing the hares in the trail and welcoming them back to take their place in our ground afterwards.
