From the 17th to the 21st of June, 29 children from years 6 and 7 went to the bay of Naples in Italy to see the towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum preserved exactly as they were nearly 2000 years ago by the eruption of Vesuvius. Taverham Hall School is committed to Learning Outside the Classroom. In addition to educational trips and visits, pupils are given the opportunity to reap the rewards of the school’s timetabled Forest School programme which takes place within our extensive grounds and conservation woodlands.

The new Tennis Academy Hobby undertaken by coaches from The Norfolk Health & Racquets Club on a Monday afternoon is extremely popular with boys and girls from Year 1 upwards taking part.
Taverham Hall School is one of the schools to fall under The Norfolk Health & Racquets Club Development Academy Programme. The structure of this programme enables players to progress from mini tennis to full ball and provides the opportunity for players to reach their full potential within the game. The Pre-Prep have been taking advantage of the lovely weather at the beginning of the term and all the children have been busy preparing and planting flower beds and tubs.
