Catering Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our busy catering team at Langley Preparatory School at Taverham Hall. The successful candidate will assist in providing excellent support in all aspects of running the kitchen and varied related tasks including hospitality events and herb garden.  The catering team ensure that an appropriate, nutritious menu is delivered to a high standard and in accordance with relevant hygiene standards and health & safety requirements.  Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

This is a term-time + INSET position, 37.5 hours per week involving a shift rota to support 24-hour business of the School.

SIMs Assessment Officer

Role Profile

Langley Senior School are seeking to appoint an experienced Assessment Officer to join their Administration Team. This is a term time plus 8 weeks full-time position which would suit a strong team player who is able to work on their own initiative; who possesses excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Working alongside the School’s Academic Support and MIS Development Manager you must be able to work independently and be proactive in your approach. Knowledge of SIMS is essential and experience of SIMS Assessment is desirable. This is a good opportunity to develop your skills to the next level. All training will be provided.

Assistant Houseparent

Required from January 2018

An important and responsible role has arisen within our House Parenting team, for an Assistant Houseparent. This is a full-time position, term-time only. The hours of work are 45 per week, rising to 50, involving a shift-rota to support the 24-hour business of the School.

Reporting to the Lead Practitioner, Boarding and Houseparent, the successful candidate will be confident and a good all-round team player, willing to contribute to the many aspects of boarding school life.

Situated in the beautiful English county of Norfolk, Langley Senior School and Sixth Form is a vibrant and friendly co-educational day, weekly and boarding school set in a 110-acre estate, located 10 miles outside Norwich.

The house structure brings a little bit of Hogwarts magic to the School with separate accommodation for boys and girls. The accommodation at Langley Senior School offers excellent facilities, including newly refurbished common rooms, kitchens, laundry and study areas.
