U13A v Norwich School Score: 3-4
The U13A team took on their Norwich counterparts and had a thrilling match. Norwich School started well and were soon 2 up as we rather uncharacteristically gave the ball away too much. We came back into the game with a fine individual goal from Isaac. Norwich School then score two further goals before Isaac and Nathan forced a mistake which Isaac pounced on to score, before Elliott scored from a short corner. We pressed hard for an equaliser and were camped in the opposition D but could not find the goal we needed and fell to a 3-4 defeat. Well done to all the players who contributed to a very entertaining game of Hockey.

Team: Danny W, Louis M, Luca P, Elliott H, Arthur C, Nathan M, Isaac B

U13B v Norwich School U12A
The U13B side faced a very strong Norwich School U12A, and despite taking an early lead, the game was dominated by Norwich School, with a flurry of goals coming in the first half. After regrouping at half-time, the boys started to defend more as a unit, stalling Norwich’s play, although Norwich’s dominance continued throughout the second half. Overall, a tough day at the office, although not through a lack of effort. The boys are aware of the areas they need to work on moving forward.

Team: Charlie B, J Field, Campbell T, Daniel G, Alfie S, James C, Ryan W

U13C v Norwich School Score: 4-5
The C team started well against Norwich School with Charl and Austin scoring two quick goals. Norwich then came back into the game and equalised just before half time. Charl scored again to put us in the lead before Norwich scored three more goals to give them a 5-3 lead. A fine following move involving Charl and Austin, Will and Harry meant the ball falling to Alex who struck the ball first time into the bottom corner to score the goal of the game, but despite last-minute pressure we couldn’t find that elusive equaliser and we went down 4-5. It was a very good display by the boys, who were very unlucky on this occasion.

Team: Danny W, Will B, Harry H, Charl M, Elliott S, La Sean S, Austin K, Alex S

U13D v Norwich School U12B Score: 6-5
The U13D side were involved in a thrilling game against Norwich School U12B. The boys started very well and took an early 2-0 lead. The game continued to be end to end, and at half time we found ourselves 4-1 up, although the score could have been level were it not for some outstanding saves from Charlie. The second half started with Norwich on the front foot and the score quickly became 4-4. Chances for both sides continued, and two more quick goals, one for each side, left the score 5-5 with five minutes to play. LPS@TH managed to score a sixth goal, which turned out to be the crucial winning goal; with the score line finishing 6-5 to LPS@TH. A great game to watch and all the boys played exceptionally well, showing great teamwork and effort.

U13E v Norwich School Score: 3-0
The U13E team played well against Norwich School, but it is fair to say that we were under the cosh from the start. Good hold-up play from Archie created a chance for Thomas who shot wide. It was the fine defensive play from Konrad that caught the eye, along with Danny in goal. The second half of the match saw a wonderful through ball from Ben to Archie who fired narrowly wide. Norwich went down the other end to score before Archie saw a second chance cleared off the line. Norwich then scored again to give them a 3-0 win.

Team: Danny W, Konrad D, Thomas LC, Harvey E, Sam M, Archie S, Ben M, Hugo S

U13F v Norwich School U12C
The U13F side played against Norwich School U12C team. It was invaluable experience for the boys to gain and their effort and work rate on the pitch was commendable. Whilst the result did not go in our favour, the boys clearly enjoyed representing the School. Highlights included some strong defending from Radley and Alexander, as well as some promising attacking play from Oliver and Edmund.

Team: Charlie B, Radley S, Oliver HG, Edmund HB, Muqtada H, Ryan T, Alexander C

U11As v OBH Score: 6-0
Despite another long journey for the Colts A team, they put in another excellent performance to beat OBH. Despite early OBH pressure, an excellent James M pass followed by an equally good finish by Archie put the away side ahead. Further goals from James and Archie made it 3-0 at half time.
Into the second half and a third goal for Archie made it 4-0. LPS@TH kept working hard with excellent tackling from Bertie and Oliver at the back to keep OBH at bay. Further goals from JC and James A made it 6-0 and capped off a good performance for the away side.

Team: Lennon T, Oliver B, Bertie C, James M, Archie C, James A, JC M

U11Bs v OBH Score: 0-0
The U11Bs are still unbeaten. The first half was an even affair with both teams creating several chances but with no goals to show for it. The second half continued in the same vein with Oliver making some great saves in the LPS@TH goal. Oscar had an effort cleared off the line and Sam G narrowly missed the goal in the last minute as the game finished goalless.

Team: Oliver D, Oscar M, Sebastian L, Reilly B, Harry S, Arthur C, Sam G

U11C v OBH Score: 2-3
We started slowly and soon found ourselves 0-2 down as the boys battled against the wind and the cold.
We fell further behind in the second half, but a change of tactic with Toby controlling the game from the back led to goals for Harry and Arthur, but we just couldn’t find an equaliser. The boys played well, but it took too long to get going after a long journey.

Team: Archie R, Tashinga M (captain), Arthur C, Sam C, Harry T, Marcus W, Toby C

U11D v OBH Score: 5-0
All the boys played really well, with Henry and Aiden scoring two each and Tashinga adding a fifth in the second half.
The boys were disciplined and played with great enthusiasm. Charlie led by example as Captain.
